Cynthia Tyler: Have been eating here for atleast 20 yrs. Food is always hot & fresh. Have found since Covid, it is usually hard to call in your order ahead of time, as no one ever answers the phone. I have tried several times and at first, just figured they were closed. On two of the occasions when no one answered the phone, I was nearby so I stopped there and discovered they were actually open, when I mentioned calling & no one answering they simply said they've been really busy. I did mention that I never got a busy signal only recording stating their voicemail was unavailable. So, whatever, was still able to get takeout by just going in and ordering, so it's all good.

I'm not a fries person, but I also really enjoyed these.The restaurant is kept clean.One concern is that a lady came and asked for a piece a fish and Cole slaw and asked how would be the best to purchase that. The gentleman stated "just separately". I chimed in to let her know of the specials that included one piece of fish and slaw and a lower price than buying separately. It also added a drink. So the deal was much better. The menu can be overwhelming and the first time I went in, I made a similar mistake and overpaid for my items without getting assistance from the young lady.Be customer conscious to show you care about them and make suggestions on your menu that help the customer. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

The Sword Of The Spirit: I've been a customer since 1970 at the old location on Avenue I and then when they moved to current location. Always a mainstay but prices have sure changed since the good old days ! Still worth it however!!

The time it took to make the food as well as it still being hot upon pick is a plus.. I've been to several fish markets before and disliked the wait the impatient rude employees and the fact that they would stink of fish or bleach.. I got none of that here. This place isa little further than the other I would order from. But it is well worth the travel and price. Thank you for your great customer service. Dinorath Rosales: Have not been here in a while. This time, I ordered the shrimp with Mojo de Ajo. It was delicious. That means the shrimps were smothered in garlic sauce. They were served over rice and with a small salad. The dish was delicious.We had really good service too. The waiters were very attentive and willing to help. I highly recommend this place.In the past, I have ordered the Chile Verde Birrito, which is really good, too.They have a lot of options for everyone.
