I went on to ride with some top riders in barrel racing, worked carriage rides for Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Homestead in South Dakota, helped start a breeding program, started my own lesson and training program in Texas, and went on to work as the lead riding instructor at the accredited school, Pearblossom Academy in Mississippi. None of that would have been possible with out the strong foundation Monica provided me with as well as instilling the same love and passion she has for such an incredible creature. Brianna Hays: Amazing barn with amazing people! I board here and my horse could not be more spoiled. The property has lots of cool stuff, like a covered arena and some cross country style jumps set up in a separate arena, two round pens, just overall a great place to be. Be it boarding or otherwise, the horses here are happy and safe ❤

Venson Rice Sr: Best experience I have ever had at any boarding/horseback riding school. My children loved the place. They were greeted with a friendly smile from the owners at the establishment and two friendly stray dogs 🐕 which had my oldest daughter asking for the dogs upon her arrival. She wants a dog now. But the excellent experience/instructions by the long time owner and avid rider was the icing on the cake she Cheri was definitely patient and informative with the kids. I would definitely continue to take my children back there again. Friendly, safety minded and knowledgeable but an added bonus is reasonably priced riding lessons

Jo Rabbitry: Crescent Moon is better than many average horse training facilities. It is large and even offers trails rides. Cheri is a wonderful teacher and trainer. She works with all ages and every lesson is full of useful information. We almost always end the lesson with an upbeat attitude and are happy about the training and eager to come again. Her horses are beautiful and very well cared for. Not only does she teach riding and trains horses, she boards and has everything at hand for the needs of the rider and horse. I am especially impressed with the high degree of safety we feel, especially because she always strives to relax the horse and aims to have the student feel more comfortable.

Azjhuree Brown: Crescent Moon Ranch is a clean, respectable, warm environment to learn in. The owner/trainer Cheri is extremely knowledgeable about all things horse related and is helping me get back into showing after years of taking a hiatus from showing. She is doing a wonderful job working with me and my off the track mare to become finished and polished for the show ring. I have watched her train my niece for 4 years and I could not ask for a more professional kind person to train her. I have owned and ridden horses for over 25 years and know a good horsewoman when I see one. She is always punctual and polite and listens to her students concerns and helps work through those. The barn manager Patty is helpful and knowledgeable as well. If your looking to get back in the saddle, start in the saddle, or like me just need some fine tuning- this is the place to go you will not be disappointed!!

Natile Abalos: I took Horse back riding lessons from the O'Leary's for years. Very Kind and compassionate people with a beautiful ranch. Horses are their passion and they come before everything else. I never worried about my horse while it was under their care I knew they would always take great care. Julie is very patient with her training of both horse and rider. She has taken me from not knowing how to put a saddle on to competing in shows and even bringing home a few blue ribbons.
