Sarah Masterson: Great food, love the California Benedict, and today's plating had lots of sliced avocados. The coffee was rich, and the OJ was refreshing. My wife ordered oatmeal with brown sugar & milk with a side of white toast and coffee. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant. He checked to make sure we had everything we wanted and refilled our coffees. The only negative would be the woman who took our drink orders. She was abrupt and turned away from me after I asked for a small OJ before I could also ask for coffee.

Rachelle Guere: This is a very late post. My husband and I visited this cafe while we were on vacation and it was absolutely spectacular. The staff was amazing, the portions are fantastic and it is incredibly affordable. Nearly a year later and I still can't stop thinking about how good my meal was at Jackie's. 10 out of 10!

Shelley Hurle: Had to give them four stars. I tried to visit the day before but I was 5 minutes early and they didnt think to seat me. Maybe a over site but I did say ok so I'll leave? I gave them a chance to reconsider but no. Next day. Have to seat myself of course I asked first. One very nice waitress couldn't keep up. I was one person eating alone really? No water. One other table finishing up. I actually got up to leave after 10 minutes. I planned on a full lunch but now it was 30 minutes. I settled for cheesecake almost frozen. The cheesecake was New York style but different very good. Coffee was made fresh for me it was good. The location is worth mentioning it's in south west corner of the High Desert Medical Building off 15th st. Easy to miss. Time of business needs to be mentioned 11am to late afternoon I believe 4pm. I plan on going back to eat lunch but yesterday I had to stop by and it was at 3pm and only one table of 3 people. I think they need to advertise.

Al Remetch: This is a great place for lunch. Tremendous ambiance, good food and a very polite and attentive staff. There serve a plate of delicious bread with every meal. I was so surprised to see a place of this quality hidden away in a strip mall. I love their 4 cheese pizza with pepperoni.

I recommend the avo toast, walnut tacos, chai pudding & Argentinian Chai hot or iced both are delicious.Vegetarian options: Walnut tacos slappedParking: I parked behind the restaurant, their are slots in front, but the lot in back is where you’ll find plenty.

Hector Mendoza: I'm originally from Las Vegas, but I have family in Lancaster, so I've been coming here for a couple of years now, and the quality of the food and tea has never changed. It is ALWAYS delicious. I also love how the staff is super friendly and always makes you feel welcome. The iced gummy bear tends to be my go-to. It is refreshing and flavorful. You can never go wrong with any of their food items. It is almost wrong if I visit family in Lancaster and don't stop by The Modern Tea Room. This is always a must-stop for me. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.
