Jessica Federico: The staff are helpful and really care about the animals. Before you go anywhere to get a pet, look here first. They have way more animals then just cats and dogs. We just got 5 guneau pigs there.

Tegan French: Got my sweet pup Johnson here 4 years ago and really, who saved who? They do the best they can with limited resources. Everyone, do what you can and don’t get pets you can’t take care of and if you are looking for a pet, always adopt.

Wild at Heart Horse Rescue is a non-profit horse rescue and transition center located in Lancaster, CA and has been committed to serving the equine community since 2017. We are a rescue specializing in rehabilitating, re-training and rehoming owner surrendered horses and transitioning these horses through specialized care and training for a new job and a new home.
At Wild at Heart Horse Rescue, Inc., We understand that all it takes to help an at-risk horse is to be there to be there to catch them when they need you most. Provide them with all the support we can via feed, care and training and give them all the love in our hearts. And in the end, find their forever homes through our adoption process.

If a horse can be saved and live without pain, we are willing to do what it takes to make that happen. Debi Le Short: I cannot say enough positive things about Wild at Heart Horse Rescue. The horses they rehome are absolute gems, who deserve a second chance at living their best life. These horses have been discarded, as if they are a ripped pair of sweatpants. Leslie and her team take these horses in and remind them all that they are living beings who deserve love and companionship. I found my perfect riding partner at Wild at Heart!! If I am ever ready to take on the responsibility/privilege of adopting another horse, I will head directly to Wild at Heart!!
