James Kitahara: I've been flying with Barnes for 6+ years now and they are very easy to work with and always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. Booking flights are as easy as making a call or making a reservation in person. If you want to book a particular instructor, I would plan more in advance by a week or two to make sure you get the time slot, instructor you want and aircraft for your lesson. Also, WJF is a great airport to fly out of for practice talking to tower as it isn't busy, for the most part. The most traffic I've had was probably 4-5 people within the class D airspace. Most of all, have fun and be safe!

Matthew Chapman: I have been learning to fly with Barnes since March 2017, they have been excellent in their teaching process. Their aircraft are incredibly competitively priced and well maintained. The have instructors are keen to teach, do a good job and will work around your schedules as required. I highly recommend them as a flight school. The only, minor, downside is they are quite busy and you have to get in early to book the time slots that you want.
Christopher Petersen: Absolutely love flying out of Barnes. Top notch service with great prices and the folks there are quick to warm up to you. Always a pleasure dealing with Barnes.

Barcelona Enterprises: The best tower and great spot for flying
Frank Bagheri: Great airport. Great restaurant.

So if you're near Palmdale, don't miss this outdoor airplane museum!There's even a nice little souvenir shop on the site where you can bid on a souvenir and exchange ideas.Top address, always happy!
