Silverback Wrestling Club is designed to help wrestlers of all ages, both boys and girls, improve their overall wrestling skills. We have youth from all over Southern California that attend our training sessions and compete with our team. Our intimate setting assures that each wrestler will get hands-on attention. Wrestlers will learn high-percentage techniques from the feet, take-down to finish. Techniques covered from the bottom position include stand-ups, leg ride defense, spiral ride, and ankle ride counters as well as reversals. Each wrestler will also learn ways to score from the top position, including leg riding, armbar series, tilts, and cradles. Our club teaches wrestlers about healthy weight management, mindset, sportsmanship, team building, leadership, and discipline. We help high school students with college recruiting and scholarships so that they can use wrestling to ensure they receive a good education and future career.

Wrestling provides youth with important life skills, including how to set goals and work hard to achieve those goals. Our club has been able to help children who have issues at home, ADHD, poor grades, and more and has helped them to become motivated young children with big goals of winning wrestling tournaments and attending college. Our goal is to inspire youth through wrestling to improve their lives and to provide support for those who cannot afford it.

My son has been attending Silverback for over a month now, he just started wrestling 4 months ago as a freshman, he is learning a bunch of new moves and technique that is really going to help him excel in the sport at his school, we are hoping he makes varsity next year. The coaches are really smart talented people. If you want your child to learn from the best then send your kid here. The whole team is great, the other kids as well. It’s a community and I’ve already made friends with other parents from other schools. It’s a really cool thing they have going on at silverback. I’m so glad to be a part of it and my son is really happy too
