Inland Training provides Law Enforcement quality Firearms Training to civilians. From the basic fundamentals of shooting to advanced self-defense techniques, we have you covered.

Inland Training has four classifications of courses based on the student’s proficiency: Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, and Defensive. Each has specialized lessons and builds on the prior course.

We are Law-Enforcement Firearms Instructors who have taught or do teach firearms to Law Enforcement Officers (Police Officers, Sheriff’s Deputies, Federal Agents, etc.) and civilians alike. We’re used to teaching firearms skills to the entire gamut of experience levels. We’ve taught brand new Academy cadets all the way to seasoned pros. Our instructors are known for being patient and highly skilled, and if we can’t get a laugh out of you at least once an hour, we feel like failures. After decades of experience, our instructors have learned to recognize every type of problem you can imagine and have a bag of tools to fix just about everything.

Since we’ve seen it all, we know to expect it. We don’t raise our voices and bark at students who are learning the ropes. Everything they do is normal and expected. We don’t run a boot camp. We don’t even own any camouflage clothes. If you want to get ready to go to Afghanistan, we can’t help you, but if you are considering buying a handgun for home or self-defense, even if you’ve never actually fired a gun, if everything you know about shooting you learned from Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone, we can get you on the right track.

We can teach you all the safe gun-handling habits that you need to have to be safe. Gun handling is just as important as accuracy. We aren’t lawyers, but we’ve been teaching this long enough to know what you can and can’t do, and what will get you thrown in jail or cost you your house. These are things that you can’t afford to get wrong.

4worldlovers: Following on from Part 1 of this series, this class starts with a refresher of firearms safety and safe handling and moves on to some of the essential manipulations of your firearm such as malfunction solving, speed and slide-lock reloads, and introduces the holster as an essential piece of equipment for the modern shooting enthusiast, On completion of this class, and if you are able to demonstrate sufficient firearms safety and basic skills, many of the other classes on our training schedule will open up to you. Some of our best competition shooters started in an Artifex beginner handgun class just a few years ago!

For individual private CCW classes (initial or renewal) you get to choose the date and have a dedicated instructor for your 8-hour class and range shoot.
