4worldlovers: Awesome! Tressa is fun and full of energy. I'm a reinstate and it was easy to do. BARRY was my counselor back then 2016-2018. But now I get to experience A Zoom meeting. But overall this organization is Fair, and willing to work with you. Communication is key and that's what I did to keep me connected so I can finish my 12month program. I'm 26 weeks in I have 26 to go.

C.A.T Class (12 month)Court/ Probation Mandated class. Facilitated by: Barry Hughes This is my experience: I was frustrated, scared, and overwhelmed. I had about 5 months clean from drugs, a fulltime job and probation taking so much time and all I new was I wanted God to guide me through to find the right place so that it was constructive and healing. I called all the referred agencies on the list and spoke with Tresa (Admin and enrollment) and hung up running to enroll because I knew this place was accommodating, most reasonably priced, had 2 classes to choose from Thurs 7 to 9 pm or Sat 12 to 2 pm. Barry Hughes (counselor / class facilitator) Met all my expectations and more from Day 1. He is a man of : Great Wisdom, compassionate,empathetic, hilarious, realistic, trustworthy, and fun to learn from. Truthfully, The journey with Mr. Barry was worth investing $ and a year of my life with.

The agency was founded in 1979 by Petra Medelez, a survivor, who out of her own home took crisis calls and housed victims and their children. Su Casa remains dedicated to Petra’s belief that every individual has the right to live free from violence or the threat of violence.

Our primary purpose is to protect families from the immediate danger stemming from domestic violence and to break the inter-generational cycle of abuse. All of our programs are designed with this purpose in mind. We help victims learn how to have safe, healthy relationships and how to remain safe when they leave the shelter.
