Hello! My name is Yasmin. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and Psychology and have been working with children for over 12 years. I am currently working on my Masters in Child development focused on the Reggio Emilia Philosophy. Most recently I worked as a Lead Teacher at the Berkeley Community Center play-based preschool. I have training in nature-based education and Reggio Emilia.


I firmly believe that children thrive through play and that each child's potential can be nurtured with the right environment and support.

To fulfill my vision of providing top-notch early care, I ventured into starting my own school. My aim is to offer personalized care and education that larger center-based locations might not provide.


On a personal note, I am a proud parent of three wonderful children – a daughter and two sons.

Recently my son was sick and couldn't attend for three days. He was so sad he couldn't go, every morning he tried to convince me he was well enough to go. On the third day he even cried when I told him I thought he needed one more day at home. I am so grateful for Yasmin's program and feel blessed to be able to send my child to a preschool where I know he is well taken care of and engaged and with people who I know I can trust. It is a huge relief to me as a parent and greatly reduces any mom guilt I may have for leaving him.

My daughter was around 17 months when she started going here. I was so anxious to send her to a new environment but Yasmin made the transition super easy. She took great care of my daughter and gave her the attention she needed. My daughter adjusted within just a week. She would come home all happy and excited and I could tell she had a good day and enjoyed her time. Yasmin is super creative and comes up with amazing activities for the kids. Her passion for child care and their development speaks for itself. For any parents that are considering sending their kid/s here, I would 100% recommend them to do so. I am so grateful that I found Yasmin, this is the best decision I could have made for my child.
