4worldlovers: We formed Workindoggz in 2012. As avid hikers and owners of a very problematic Malamute we wanted to create a business focused on forming healthy lifestyles for high energy dogs. Initially, we took our clients (dogs) out to the best trails in the bay; walking them until THEY seemed tired and would trail-train them along the way. We believed that consistency in training paired with lots of exercise will lead to a happy and healthy family member.

4worldlovers: Our all-breed obedience and rally trial will be on Sunday October 1st at California State University East Bay.

We are resuming classes with a limited schedule. We will have restricted contact classes indoors at our facility located at 534C Lewelling. Classes will be added to our schedule gradually as conditions allow.

If you are attending classes, please print out the waiver and rules, and bring the fully signed waiver with you to the first class.

The San Lorenzo Dog Training Club was founded in 1953, and has been teaching people to train their dogs ever since. Our experienced trainers offer a wide variety of obedience classes from puppy socialization and beginning manners through competition-level utility, as well as conformation, canine freestyle (dog dancing), and K9 nose work classes. We also hold an annual all-breed obedience and rally match in the spring, and an AKC-sanctioned obedience and rally trial in the fall, in addition to Member's Only Workshops throughout the year.

4worldlovers: Steve was amazing with Onyx. Onyx is a Dutch Shepherd and we had a difficult time trying to find a well balanced trainer to help with Onyx’s human aggression. Onyx is about 90lbs and has history in French ring and Obedience. His obedience is great but when it came to new people, he didn’t have the direction on how to act around people (mainly due to our lack of socialization when he was young). Onyx was such an anxious dog when it came to new people. We couldn’t bring him around anyone in fear of him going after someone who bats an eye to him. Steve took Onyx for board and train program for about a little over 8 weeks and when he came back to us, he was such a different dog. We are now able to walk Onyx around and know what to watch for to help his behavior. Steve spent a lot time with me teaching us what to look for and what to do. Steve trained both Me and Onyx so well. I would definitely go back to him and refer him foe training/behavior modification. He was very receptive when it came to updates and txts even when we were overseas just to check in, he was readily available.


If you are looking for someone to train your dog - search no longer. We had a great experience with Isabel, who turned our rescued, wild beast, Leon, into a charming young gentleman. We opted for the looooong training: 8 weeks, and man was it worth it. We have a toddler and a very busy household, so knowing that Leon would come back well trained was super important to us. We wanted a dog, but we are not dog trainers. Isabel is. And Isabel did not disappoint. We got weekly updates, questions answered, and had a very good experience. Highly recommend.

We recently used Spectrum Canine Dog Training for our new puppy, Duke, and we were absolutely blown away by their level of care and professionalism. From the moment we dropped Duke off, we knew our little fur baby was in good hands. Our trainer, Isabel, was incredibly knowledgeable and professional, and she quickly got Duke on track in a matter of days.

Our three-month-old Duke mastered some basic commands during his time with Spectrum Canine, and he stopped some of his behavioral challenges, like biting our hands and chewing our shoes. He even became house broke during his time with them! We were so impressed by Duke's progress during his stay that we'll definitely use their services again when he's older and can learn some more advanced commands.


Overall, we couldn't be happier with the services provided by Spectrum Canine. Isabel and the team truly went above and beyond to help Duke become the well-behaved and happy pup he is today. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch training and boarding for their furry friend.

Our trainers will service up to 30 minutes from Citrus Heights, CA. For training outside of this area, our trainers are happy to meet and train at the Pet Food Express in El Dorado Hills. More coverage areas and direct booking coming soon.

Before sceduling board and train we will need to conduct a board and train consult. Board and train consults are in San Ramon at 2040 Faria preserve parkway, San Ramon, CA 94583.

1. Athens Dog Training L.L.C. programs vary in length or number of sessions. i.e. Sessions scheduled for one hour may be more or less than one hour. Athens Dog Training L.L.C. works with success as a priority, not time. Trainers will decide the time needed to determine success per class/session.

2. The fee for training programs is payable in advance. Make checks payable to Athens Dog Training L.L.C. Athens Dog Training L.L.C. will charge a $25 service fee for any cancellations requiring a

Refund. After the first class, or private package sessions begins, no refunds will be made.

3. Dogs must be of an appropriate age to take part in classes and be Fully Vaccinated - We require evidence of Rabies, DHPP (DHLPP if going on off-leash walks), and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations. Bordetella is often missing but can be added as late as 2 days before the stay. Puppies older then six months of age must have completed all rounds of vaccination. For older dogs who have had at least 3 booster shots, we can accept a current TITER test from your vet that demonstrates they still have an adequate immune response. handler is responsible for checking with their veterinarian to ensure your pet has recommended vaccinations before starting any training with Athens Dog training L.L.C.

All dogs over 10 months old should be altered/neutered. Exceptions may be made based upon the Trainer's discretion. Unaltered dogs can attract unwanted attention from other dogs.

4. Participants must pre-register and pay the class fee to reserve a space in the program. Owners must

Submit the vaccination certification form (not original records) before or at the first class session.

5. We reserve the right to refuse admittance if limitations of the handler or dog impair the ability of the

Trainer to teach the methods employed in class. We will make reasonable accommodations to assure a successful class experience.

6. No aggressive/reactive dogs are permitted in a group class. An owner with knowledge of the dogs

Aggressive/reactive behavior or other serious behavior problem must speak with the trainer prior to enrollment at the required Group Orientations.

Aggressive/reactive dogs are recommended to seek private in-home training to

Determine if the dog can attend the class, or if another training arrangement should be made. If an owner brings an aggressive/reactive dog to class without first having an in-home consult, Athens Dog Training L.L.C. is not required to refund the class fee.

7. If, at any time, the trainer judges that a dog or handler is jeopardizing the safety of people or other

Dogs in the class, the trainer may request that the dog be removed from class.

8. Each dog enrolled in group programs should use the recommended equipment or a reasonable

Substitute approved by the instructor. Headcollars and harnesses may be used at the trainer's discretion. No

Choke, prong, or electronic collars will not be allowed in the classroom. The handler must supply a six-foot leash. The handler must always enter the classroom with the dog on a leash and under control.

9. Dogs are not allowed contact with other dogs without the trainer's permission while in the training yard.

10. Dogs, who in the trainer's opinion, show symptoms of contagious diseases, are sick, or show discomfort, may not enter the

American Canine Institute is a canine training facility providing training classes for all breeds of dogs. Since 1983, we have been providing clients with a place to bring their dogs for proper training and canine education.

It is our goal to educate owners on how to properly communicate with their dog. Each of our training classes have been designed to meet your specific needs. They are structured to achieve continued progress from your pet. 4worldlovers: My name is Nikolett D’Amario owner of Naughty to Nice Dog Training. My love for animals started as a little girl. Growing up in Greece there were so many stray animals and I wanted to take them all home. Never forgetting those memories I was determined to educate the public on how to transform their pet into a well mannered lifelong family member.

I graduated with my A.A. and A.S. degrees. I became a Certified Veterinary Technician. I worked at a local veterinary hospital for 11 years. I educated owners on behavior modification, Pet training, nutrition, oral care and the overall health of their pet. I also performed external surgeries on patients and recovery care. I later became an AKC Certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and started training dogs full time. I teach and test pets to pass this prerequisite test in becoming a service dog. I attend annual continuing education courses on animal nutrition, behavioral modification and canine medicine.


Having worked with animals since 2004 and with several different species and breeds. My love for animals doesn’t stop after work, I volunteer at local animal shelters evaluating animal behavior before they are put up for adoption.

We started with just two pups, a half Pit Bull, half Rottweiler four legged shadow named Spartan that I rescued from Oakland. After months of training he has passed the Canine Good Citizen test and our three year old Aussiedoodle who keeps us active. We have two kids and decided we need more animals…

We then rescued a half pit bull, half border collie mix named Frankie who’s is Extremely affection and Loves to play. We recently got a Anatolian pup named Poppy who enjoys patrolling her yard to keep critters off of it. All our pups will be going through the training to become Certified Canine Good Citizens. We adopted two kitties who act like dogs, Buffy and Tank. Our kids and animals add much more purpose to our lives.
