Long ago in a land far away, a young mother Aida and Her sister Noha opened up a little whole in the wall restaurant made up of four tables and a tiny homelike kitchen on Pierre El Jmaiel street in the capital city of Beirut, Lebanon.


The restuarant was an overnight success. Aida's daughter Joyce joined the duo helping them after school and on the weekends as the waitress. As life happened, the restaurant was eventually sold. Noha moved to Iraq with her new husband. Joyce got married to an airline pilot Majed Aboulhosn, had a daughter Jinan plus four other children to boot. Aida moved to America to be with her sons after her husband passed. Joyce and her family traveled the world residing in over six countries through the years, mainly in the far east.

In 1984 the Aboulhosns' setteled in Orange County, California. Joyce and her mother Aida decided to team up for a second time and opened a pizza place in Anaheim, then another in Fullerton. Embracing her worldly exposure, living in hotels for most of her life Jinan found herself pursuing a career in the hospitality industry which always felt like home.

4worldlovers: Always amazed with the food here. The chicken shawarma and humus is great, onion sumac, garlic sauce yes please. Beef kabobs are cooked perfect. I haven't had anything I didn't like from this restaurant. Definitely a great date night spot, as they also feature a full drink/alcohol menu.

Much better than I expected. The food was excellent. The beef was just perfect, everything was delicious.

We ordered D’ Vine for catering in an event of 200 guests and Jamal and his crew provided the best service. Jamal is very flexible and understanding. He provided the menu we asked for and made several changes that required a lot of work and effort. His staff came in with a smiley face ready to work and serve to this big crowd. They were pleasant and extremely respectful of everyone. And the food was deliciously prepared and presented!! We definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants quality service, delivery and food.

Loved how tender and juicy their beef and chicken was! Their hot chili sauce and garlic dip was an amazing addition. Their baklava - yum!

My favorite date night dinner place! Everything tastes so good. I always get an extra Kabob for lunch the next day. Great service and super attentive.

My brother put me onto this place. The pandemic has made me so aware of the importance of supporting small business. I came in for a chicken kabob plate. I was warmly greeted and my order was taken within a minute of walking in.....

5 years, and still always coming back to this place. I've tried olive pit and some other Mediterranean food places nearby, but pita hot always wins. This place is solid. And great customer service too, icing on the cake.....
