Thanks for taking the time to visit my home page. Please allow me to introduce myself. I am a second generation Taiwanese-American. I grew up in Houston, Texas, but I have been in sunny California since 1989. I graduated from Stanford University undergraduate program with honors and distinction in biology, and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. I attended the University of California at Los Angeles for medical school, internship, and otolaryngology-head and neck surgery training, and I then returned to Stanford for fellowship.

As a fellowship-trained facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, I deal with a wide range of patients. I am board certified by both the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Through the Head and Neck Surgery Department, I practice general otolaryngology with a focus on reconstructing nasal and facial defects caused by trauma, cancer, and other disease processes. Through our Cosmetic Services Department, I am able to offer a wide variety of the latest methods for rejuvenation and enhancement of facial features.

Since 2014, I have served as chief of the Neck Surgery Department and as chief of the Cosmetic Services Department within the Greater Southern Alameda Area. I have enjoyed these roles because it allows me to introduce new ideas and initiatives to our practices. We strive to provide excellent patient care in with kindness and empathy. I also try hard to maintain an enjoyable, fulfilling, and sustainable workplace for our providers and staff.
