I got referred to Frank by the owner of East Bay Auto Paint. I am in the process of restoring my 2003 Acura CL Type S 6 speed Manual shift car. The arm rest on the driver's door was not in perfect shape and I purchased a new old stock armrest that was black in color, and I needed it painted tan to match my tan interior. Frank at Super Auto Upholstery just like his friend who does painting and is the owner of East Bay Auto Paint both do outstanding work. The day my car was able to be picked up I took possession of it and then drove a couple of buildings down to see if Frank had the armrest done and he did. It came out great. I couldn't be happier with Super Auto Upholstery's attention to detail. He even painted the inside of the armrest even though it won't show as it faces the door card. Keep up the great work, Frank. I much appreciated your help in getting that repainted to match the tan interior of my car.

Back to new! Frank's work is top notch. I've brought both my Mercedes to him for infamous seat tears over time due to MBs poor design. Always fixed fast and better than new.

4worldlovers: I had the pleasure of consulting with Steve regarding his fantastic design for the custom interior in my 2021 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye. He brought the vision to life and knocked it out of the park!


Truth to be told, there were times Steve even seemed more enthusiastic about this project than I was! This was totally refreshing as most shops aren’t so invested. The final product was breath taking; the entire interior only took a day and a half and the attention to detail was phenomenal!

Had Katzkin leather installed. Tony, the sales rep, was EXTREMELY helpful, met up with me to show me the leather swatches so I ordered the right colors. When I dropped off my car, everyone I interacted with was pleasant. The front desk woman (I didn't catch her name) made check in very easy, and set my expectations on when it would be finished (and that she would call me the day before to make sure I had an accurate time window). When I picked up the car I was more than impressed. It turned out great. Would highly recommend if you're looking at having your interiors redone.

I just had a wonderful experience. I bought a 2015 Toyota 4Runner that was ``almost`` what I was looking for. I got a good price so decided to make it ``mine``. I needed leather seats with seat heaters and a sunroof to make it perfect. Coast Automotive Restyling did exactly that for me ... in two days!


The did a wonderful job and I am extremely happy with the results. I can highly recommend them, and should I ever need anything else, they will be my ``go to`` place.


Took my Tesla Model 3 to them for a recovering job in leather. The job went pretty well, and looks great!


There was however an issue with the install, and a wire harness needed to be replaced due to installation error. I sent pictures of the damage, and they covered it without question.

Not surprised at all seeing all the 5 star reviews for Mr. Stitch. Len's decades of experience and skill earns him the name of Mr. Stitch. You see a lot of high end cars at the shop for a reason. He took on the task of installing a Robbins canvas top on a 32 year old Mazda RX7 which is a not an easy job. It was done and done well. Spending top dollar for a Robbins canvas top deserves an authorized installer. Given the quality of work and understanding the difficulty, I thought the price was reasonable. On top of great craftsmanship, Len communicates well; customer service is on point. Needless to say, highly recommended.
