We encourage students to invent, explore, and collaborate; creating their own journey towards musical artistry. Our program provides a unique curriculum of private lessons, group classes, recitals and more on the following instruments:

Recitals at Muse Academy are a BIG deal! We don’t just throw together small informal recitals all the time, because we believe that recitals should be monumental events in a student’s musical education. Recital preparation here is exciting and inspiring. You can feel the excitement in the air as our students are working toward their goal, perfecting their favorite and most challenging pieces. Our recitals typically have an audience of over 100 proud parents, family and friends. Plus, unlike other studios, our recitals are offered at no additional cost to you!

Our studio is in the beautiful Mercado Shopping Center, right in the heart of Rancho bernardo. A busy family like yours can hit all their stops in one trip! We have Yoga nextdoor, Karate and Barons Market downstairs. Plus, you can even grab some Frozen Yogurt as a treat for your kids after they do a great job at their music lesson!

We are the ONLY music school in San Diego that has a really exciting program for adult students. You won’t be the only adult in a sea of kids. In fact, 25% of our weekly teaching load are adult students! Plus, we know that adults get MUCH more nervous than kids when performing. That’s why we host special Adult Recital Happy Hours, so our adult students can feel comfortable performing in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Krysten has been performing guitar and singing for fourteen years. She grew up listening to everything from Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Ray Vaughan, to Metallica. She enjoys styles such as, Country, Indie, Folk, Blues, and Classic Rock. She has a passion for songwriting and wrote her first song at age twelve and has written over twenty original songs. Krysten encourages her students to develop and create their own sound that is unique to them. Krysten will help you obtain a well rounded understanding of music basics, and help you find your individual music style.

Dallas is a younger musician who has been rocking his guitars for seventeen years, coming from main inspirations like Nirvana, Guns N Roses, and Led Zeppelin. Dallas loves genres of hard rock, alternative, and grunge but can range all over including acoustic and classical.

From writing, to recording, to teaching, and producing both covers and original music, Dallas can cover many areas of the music field. Although, that does not take away from his understanding or patience of beginning music skill levels.

Though his passion is with guitar, Dallas is more than capable using multiple instruments of hand, bass, drums, and piano. He will be more than happy to express and teach this same enjoyment to each person, so they too can share in these experiences.

Brian's Guitar Lessons are conveniently taught in-home, and provides one hour or half hour of private instruction. These lessons are informative and catered toward the musical goals of the student, but most importantly the lessons are designed for optimal results and fun!

The guitar is an amazing instrument and I ensure that all of my students are having fun while learning. My number one priority is to secure the success of my students by instilling the same methods that gained me success on the guitar.

As a guitarist for over 20 years, and a Guitar Instructor for over 10 years, I have developed proven methods for maintaining the continued success of all of my students. Guitar is not only an extremely fun and rewarding instrument for me, but it's also my profession. This means that I eat, breathe, and sleep Guitar.
