I’ve learned so much in their classes. A must have for anyone who owns a boat or is thinking of buying one. Their instructors are the best! I checked out other options, no one comes close.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoy exploring the beautiful coastline of Oceanside in our Catalina 315. We would not have been doing any of this had it not been for America’s Boating Club – Oceanside educaitonal classes, organized cruises and the wonderful people we met!! Being part of America’s Boating Club, Oceanside opened up an entire new world for us.

Great educational programs – they also know how to have a good time. Sundowners on Oceanside Bay, cruises to Catalina and Mission Bay. Knowledgeable speakers at the potlucks. Great fun!

We at America’s Boating Club Oceanside are closely aligned with Oceanside Yacht Club – several of our members are also members of OYC. Listed below are their upcoming events.

The OYC Twilight Race Series (beer cans) starts May 17th and runs for 12 weeks. This series is a single race per evening and includes a novice class. It’s the perfect time to try out racing. The notice of race is posted, and registration is open on the website at

A little hesitant? No problem! Prior to the series Tim Zimmerman will be presenting a race seminar on May 3rd and 7th, from 7pm to 8:30 pm in the Regatta room under the club. He will explain some of the basics of the race and basic rules. The seminar is free.

There is a highly recommended skippers meeting May 10th from 5:30-6:30 where Staff Commodore Tom Manok will provide additional information about the starts and the courses.

This is open to non OYC members as well as members.
