To begin your appointment, we will first take a case history. This will consist of a conversation with you about what brought you in. We want to understand where you’ve been having difficulties, what your expectations are, what your family history is, medical history, and what you are looking for in terms of treatment.

Then we will perform a diagnostic hearing evaluation to test how well you can hear in different scenarios.

After the evaluation, we will go over the results with you. We encourage you to ask questions so you’re fully educated on what’s going on with your hearing health.

If we determine hearing aids might be a good solution for you, we’ll share what your options are and recommend what we think will be best for you.

If there is a specific hearing aid you would like to try you can demo a pair of them in our office and even take them home to try them out in your own environments.
