4worldlovers: I create a lot of mermaid paintings because I love women and fantasy. Mermaids are strong and feminine, yet incredibly playful.

I use many different mediums, such as acrylics, watercolors and pastels. And I enjoy creating texture. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process.

Oceans connect all people and life. The ocean is powerful yet fragile. We need to care for it as we need to do for each other which is why I often focus on it in my paintings.
