From Sex Ed Squad, I’ve learned how to manage stress, that my feelings matter, I am beautiful exactly how I am, and it is important to share our knowledge about safe sex to our peers. Squad gave me a community I could depend on and they welcomed everyone with open arms, ears, and minds.

I've been going to the Daly City Youth Health Center for years and I have always had really awesome and friendly service while there! Everyone, from the person you schedule your appointments with to the nurse practitioners, is kind and they have always made me feel comfortable. I greatly appreciate what they do to serve the local youth community.

I am able to go into a medical facility and feel confident enough to say my piece, as well as making my own medical appointments. This confidence has also carried over into school and I feel comfortable enough to ask teachers for more help or talk to faculty about my needs as a student.
