We invite all parishioners to join the St. Vincent de Paul Adult Choir on a special pilgrimage tour of Slovenia and Italy in April 2024. The choir will sing at mass in Italy’s most sacred churches, basilicas, and abbeys, including St. Mark in Venice and the Basilica of St. Francis in Assisi. We will have the incredible opportunity to attend the Holy Father’s Papal Audience, as well as sing during the Sunday Solemn Mass at the Altar of the Chair in St. Peter’s Basilica.

Our trip includes Lake Bled in Slovenia, Tuscan wine and cheese tasting in San Gimignano’s San Donato farm, Accademia dell’Arte in Florence to view Michelangelo’s David among other pieces of art, Naples, the well-preserved remains of Pompeii, and more are part of this phenomenal itinerary.

Besides offering us unique liturgical and musical opportunities, this journey will take us to the sacred sites of our Christian faith and Italy’s greatest cultural centers. We will celebrate our faith, form deeper bonds of friendship, and enjoy the food and customs of Slovenia and Italy! There is nothing like sharing such experiences with our friends and family in faith.

This coming October 20-21, in response to the call for a National Eucharistic Revival, our Diocese will set out to host our own Eucharistic Congress at Christ Cathedral. This free 2-day event will invite people from all walks of life to gather in anticipation of the nearness of God. Through powerful speakers, transformative prayer, and Sacramental celebrations, we will experience the life that flows from His existence, meeting Him in the reality of His Presence.
