At its peak before the Great Recession in 2006 to 2008, the company had 350 employees. But home development, which accounted for as much as 95% of the company’s business crashed.

At that point, the company switched its emphasis so that today the company does 95% of its work in the public sector.

When Joe Nanci retired in 2019, he sold half of the company to Tom Nanci and his son J.D. Nanci. J.D. Nanci is now co-owner of the company, which now has more than 140 employees as a self-performing contractor working in asphalt, concrete, and stone block masonry.
