I drove here all the way from Dublin and it was worth it. The food is closer to the authentic nepalese food. Parking - Plenty available in front of the restaurant in a shared parking for the strip mall Ambience - Nothing fancy, quaint and unassuming place in a strip mall Cost - $20-30 dollars per person for an appetizer and an entrée Food Review: (All Vegetarian) Momos - 10 pieces in a plate with thin outer shell served with two sauces and pickled daikon radish and carrots. Better momo than most other places in the Bay Area Nimki/Papad Chat - Really good, took me back to streets of Nepal. Spice level can be customized. Crispy, hot and spicy with a tangy kick Thali - Looked exactly like the Nepalese Thakali. Looked very appetizing but I did not try it. This is my second time here all the way from Sonoma. They always have great foods and great service. i will definitely come again soon.

Maybe it's because it was summer break for Berkeley kids, but the place was pretty empty. There were a few people coming in and out for lunch orders though. They have lunch sets, but my friend and I decided to order a la carte. The chicken tikka masala was rich and creamy. Everything you'd want in one. The momos were good, but I believe the vegetable one was spicy. The samosas had a nice crunchy exterior and were pretty filling. My friend was running late, but the staff were nice and let me sit and wait. A good place for lunch, and the prices aren't bad.

The staff were so wonderful and attentive! And the food was excellent. Goat biryani was outstanding Vegetarian options: Half the menu is vegetarian, and it's all delicious

This is a family owned restaurant serving all varieties of Indian and Nepalese food. The dry chilli chicken and Himalayan chowmein tasted best and reminded me of the Indo-Chinese flavors growing up in India. Kids loved the cheese paratha. Very good dining experience with the owner constantly checking on us delivering good customer service. The price was reasonable. Will highly recommend anyone visiting Berkeley campus.

We love the excellent customer service and delicious food. FYI, credit card charges show up as "TASTE OF THE HI BOISE ID" which isn't intuitive.

Left my phone behind and they had it ready - thank you TotH team! -- If you normally eat "mild" spice - I highly encourage going for a medium level. Very well balanced and not overpowering spice levels. I love the option of the pickled spice on the side - very smart move to choose your spice adventure if you need more heat. Well seasoned. Not overly salty. I probably had 1-2 sip of water. - See you in the future.

Amazing food! The mango lassi was delicious too, and it's nice that they give lentil soup as a starter.
