I started taking Pilates from Claudia at The Hundred and More in June 2016 with the new student package. The private lessons with Claudia prepared me for the group classes. Slowly I have learned some basics and feel excited to go to class, though at first I was intimidated and wanted to quit! Some of my back and neck aches and pains from computer work have gone away and I feel my core strengthening. This beautiful Pilates studio has all of the specific and high-end Pilates equipment and is run professionally but with a personal, family-like feel. Claudia and Rebecca are stern task-masters but are also caring and friendly.

My go to exercises have always been mountain biking and playing softball, and I've always tended to avoid going to crowded gyms. I'm so glad I gave Pilates a try here a year ago. They focus on small classes, with lots of individual attention in a low-pressure setting. Now I always look forward to going to this beautiful Pilates Studio. Claudia is great to work with and I've had the pleasure to work with each of the Rebecca’s.

Everyone can benefit regardless of age, level of fitness or experience. We are also home to the Balanced Body Instructor Training Program which was created in our studio over 15 years ago. We train trainers at the highest level of excellence.

We offer fitness training but not in the traditional sense. With a 20 year emphasis on rehabilitation and injury prevention, we know not to rehab just one specific area. We view your body as a dynamic, interdependent system. Our highly‐trained instructors assess your needs and structure a personalized program to advance your fitness level and address your specific situation.

Education is at the heart of what we do. We mentor each student in how to see and understand the body. Our focus is not just on teaching the repertoire but on teaching the fundamental principles that underlie each exercise. Our comprehensive instructor training program teaches how to look at each client as an unique individual and create the most effective program for that person.

“Turning Point Studios” comes from the “I Ching”, a book of Chinese wisdom with 64 hexagrams, each with a specific meaning. Turning Point is associated with the winter solstice, when the light first begins to return after the darkness of winter, and movement and creativity begin to stir again. Many of our clients are looking for their own turning point. We are here to help them find it.
