At Little Swimmers through consistent and effective swim lessons, we focus on improving the swimming skills of your individual child. Our goal is to make our students most comfortable and agile in the water.

We offer our swim lessons at our indoor location conveniently located across from Costco in Concord California. We are proud to offer 3 professionally maintained UV and carbon filtered saltwater pools – ideal for kids’ sensitive skin and eyes – heated and kept at a comfortable temperature all year round. Our custom HVAC system takes in 100% outside air with no recirculation. With our small lessons, we are able to offer swim lessons to siblings simultaneously, as well as back to back, for an easier scheduling of swimming lessons.


As a member of our Little Swimmers program you have access to changing rooms with baby changing stations, rinse off showers and bathroom facilities. Please bring swimsuit, towel and goggles (if preferred) for your swimmers.

Instruction at Little Swimmers provides well-defined levels of achievement, as well as detailed evaluations of your child’s progress. Our high-quality, low-volume format and focus on the individual Little Swimmer, allows for tailoring of each swim lesson to their specific needs during our 30 minute, semi-private or private lessons.

Whether you are interested in giving your child a basic introduction to swimming, or need help in a specific area, we will work with you to achieve your goal!

If your child is on a swim team, preparing to join one or keeping stamina and technique up between seasons, we will also be able to enhance your child’s progress on the team, through customized focus on speed and technique according to the coaching of the individual team. Our home swim lessons enable swimmers to learn water safety skills and how to escape danger in their own pool. Our learn to swim guarantee focuses on water safety and teaching a child how to turn around and swim back to the wall after a fall into the water.

We had James for swimming lessons, and I cannot say enough good things about him. He was prompt every single day for our 4 weeks of lessons, absolutely engaged during the lesson, and knew how to manage the different personalities of children. One of our son's classmates took right after our son's lesson ended each day, and she has a very different learning style from our son, and James catered to both incredibly well. If you choose to take lessons from Sunsational, request James. We had a NOT great experience with an instructor before this, and having James was a 180 in every way. Our kids STILL ask about James and when they'll get to go swimming with him again.

While we initially had issues with finding an instructor that was a good fit for our toddler, we did eventually find one. Sunsational was very helpful and worked with us to find a the right instructor. Abbie has been amazing. Our son really enjoys his lessons with her and has made great improvements. He is 16 months old and is kicking, going under water, and loving the water. Abbie is so kind and easy going. She doesn't force our son to do anything that makes him uncomfortable. She has been very flexible with scheduling and making changes. Even during our lessons if T is getting fussy, she understands and we end the lesson a few minutes or so early. He's always encouraging, both to support my youngest's introduction to the water, and to push my older boys to try harder and swim faster. My oldest three are on the local swim team now and consistently snag first or second finishes, and I attribute that to James' teaching style -- he gently recommended that I put all three boys in the pool with him, and he was right because they worked harder together than alone. Natalia was amazing with my 2 and 4 year olds. My 4 year old really enjoyed the lessons and Natalia taught my 2 year old each day even when he wasn't interested. Highly recommend!
