Our Camps teach the basic aspects of horsemanship and riding in a safe environment

· Please provide a lunch for your child and water bottle with name.

· For the safety and comfort of the riders, sunscreen, boots, and long pants are required.

Helmets will be provided but campers are welcome to bring their own helmets.

Located just 15 minutes south of Downtown San Diego, our rides tour a beautiful River Valley Nature Preserve. Our Beach, Swim Adventure and Sunset Rides take you through the Preserve to the only beach in San Diego where you can ride a horse! Our Riverbed Ride is a placid escape into a little known part of San Diego filled with fragrant, lush greenery and occasional wildlife viewings. We take riders out 7 days a week with the last departure between 4 and 6:00 pm depending upon the season and tour. No experience is necessary. View our beach and trail rides. We are open Saturdays and Sundays and have ponies available for children under 6 years old who weigh less than 70 pounds. Our pony rides are specially designed for nervous, first-time riders and consist of three laps around a corral with an experienced guide. Got a herd of kids? We also offer our Pony Carousel with small, medium and large sized ponies. And it doesn't end with ponies - come pet a piglet, goat, chicken, bunny or other critter in our Petting Zoo. When you add up our scenic location, beautiful ponies and delightful petting zoo you'll quickly see that a visit to Pony Land is a lot more than just a pony ride - it's an affordable, fun, family outing that kids will remember for years to come. We rent horses, wagons, ponies, our pony carousel and even exotic animals like Moses, our camel. We specialize in LARGE events. Our Clydesdales have no problem pulling wagons with up to 18 passengers and we have custom wagons for many occasions including a stage coach, hay ride, flatbed, bob sleigh and more. We have wagons that can handle bumpy terrain or take the heat of long parade routes. Don't need a horse? Many of our wagons are tractor drawn.
