Futures Academy and Fusion Academy were both founded by passionate educators in California with a vision that one-to-one teaching was the best way for students to learn.

In 2007, Fusion Education Group was founded with a vision to help change education through personalization. Later that year the first Fusion Academy campus was replicated and has now grown nationwide.

In 2020, Futures Academy joined Fusion Education Group, strengthening our nationwide network of schools.

Over the 2022-2023 school year, the Futures Academy campuses will change to Fusion Academy, still offering the same quality one-to-one education focused on supporting your student’s skills, interests, and learning preferences.

While campus names may be changing, our mission has not. We are guided by a fundamental belief in the immense potential within every person, and our mission is to help each student flourish – emotionally, socially, and academically – through positive, mentoring relationships and a personalized education experience. At Carlsbad Country Day School, we believe that a strong academic base developed through play and practice will build a foundation for future academic success. While we believe that play is the primary vehicle for children's learning and development in the early years, teacher directed learning develops the child as a whole and is therefore an essential aspect of your child’s first school experience.


At Carlsbad Country Day School, each child's curriculum is individualized to fit their specific developmental stage. We provide parents with daily detailed documentation of their child's progress. Our loving and highly trained teachers are devoted to the success of each and every child. Remember, the end depends on the beginning.


Carlsbad Country Day School enrolls students on a first come, first serve basis. Space is limited so please contact the school for availability or come in for a tour. We are open from 6am-6pm and scheduled tours are not necessary.
