In addition you should bring a person of you choice to learn how to put up your bustles and help with your special dressing needs on your wedding day! unless of course you choose to have a personal attendant there to help you on the wedding day !

We also show you exactly how to connect your bustles, and even teach you how to sit, turn and kneel in your gown!

All prices are given to you at your first fitting, so there are no surprise fees!

Everyone should be lucky enough to find an experienced, kind yet real, master tailor such as Alex! I was set on the gown, however, it arrived in a box and also fit like a box. Alex turned lemons into lemonade, she knew exactly what to do to make the gown fit even better than I had ever imagined it could. Trust her vision. All work was done ahead of schedule and her pricing is fair. You are one lucky bride if you get to work with Alex.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, my daughter Joell's wedding gown was incomplete within two weeks of the wedding date! Alex, came highly recommended to us and was so kind to accept our plea to finish Joell's gown! Alex was wonderfully calm to work with in completing the design and creation of the gown. She worked hours around the clock to make sure the gown was absolutely perfect! She worked meticulously and creatively to give my Joell a gown more beautiful than she had imagined! We received a multitude of compliments both at the event as well as afterwards via Facebook and Instagram posts! I only wish these photos could show how gracefully the gown flowed as Joell walked down the aisle and danced with her new groom and father!

This was my first time using a tailor and I am so glad it was Alex. She was fast, responsive, and very, very detailed. I needed my Blue Velvet blazer to be tailored due to the sleeves covering half of my hands. Upon entering, she spent an hour breaking down everything she planned to do. I thought I just needed the sleeves done but she explained other things that would need to be done as well. On top of that, the material that the blazer was made out of would be difficult to work with but she was so determined to make it flawless (which she did). Another issue that the blazer had, was 4 buttons right at the cuff of the sleeves. She said she may have to get rid of 1 of the buttons and I agreed. The event I was going to was on Saturday, I came to her on Thursday and she had it done the next day (Friday). As soon as I put it on, I knew it had been made perfect. I was in shock because prior to Alex I thought that, other than the sleeves, it was good enough to wear. Based of her measure...

2. Online Purchase: Did you buy an online garment? Good luck finding someone willing to fix it. By now most experienced tailors won't touch online-purchased garments due to inferior manufacturing and "Frankenfabrics ". In order to cut costs to sell you garments at cheaper prices most garments are not %100 wool, cotton or silk anymore. They are both genetically AND chemically modified - and while this is not a problem at the point of original production… in altering a garment the fabric just doesn't behave the same way as the "good old days" of real wool, cotton or silk. For a lower quality (and price) garment worker with little time and lots of production pressure your project will look worse than it was after alterations. Not with me! Perfection takes time and I take that time.

3. An honest Tailor who styles… An honest stylist who Tailors: Hollywood is a strange place where people often say "Okay" to your face but never tell you the truth. Work is work and opinions are never given unless asked for and even then are qualified if not modified and self-censured. I am from New York and I tell true truth even if it means I don't get to work on your project because I'm "too expensive" or honest enough to tell you "it just doesn't work". About the difference being styling and tailoring: What may seem like a moment to you, the art of styling has taken years of experience to cultivate and although tailoring still takes me hours - because I do both that makes me unique in Hollywood.
