It is our vision to provide a world-class Club Experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who walks through our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle.

The Club serves all youth, especially those who need us the most, during out of school hours. We ensure no child is every turned away for an inability to pay. Clubs keep kids safe while allowing parents to keep their jobs and go back to school, but the Club is more than a haven for youth. The Club also works to close the education and health gaps seen in minority and low income families.

Swimming at the Y helps people thrive — in and out of the water. Swimming is not only a healthy activity that exercises the entire body, it is also a skill that can both save lives and enrich them. The Y strives to help individuals of all ages learn how to swim, so they can stay safe around water and learn the skills needed to make swimming a lifelong pursuit for healthy living.

We believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. That’s why we forged an alliance with the Burbank Unified School District to deliver a special program called Summer Learning — Learn, Grow, Thrive that addresses the educational & enrichment needs of students at risk of falling into the achievement gap.

The Y has always been the go-to health & fitness place for people of all ages. In recent years we’ve enhanced our programming to specifically address two growing problems: the declining health of an aging population and the rise in childhood obesity. Today we offer a wide range of Group Exercise Classes designed especially for these groups.

The Y is for everyone. That’s why we offer financial assistance for those who cannot afford the full cost of our programs and services. Thankfully, the community recognizes the importance of this program and supports it by participating in fundraising efforts such as our annual support campaign and Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot.
