In November 2020, Vortex Freerunning opened in North Hollywood, California, and committed to teaching authentic parkour to everyone. Our goal is and always has been to inspire athletes and build confidence through parkour, creating the next generation of parkour athletes who will fall in love with this sport the same way our coaches and athletes have themselves.

We have since committed to teaching our parkour classes in a 1:5 Coach to Student Athlete Ratio, an industry leader in kids fitness, and what we believe is necessary to building relationships, shortening wait times, training safely, and guaranteeing results with our athletes and families.

Your journey begins here, Athletes will start with learning the basics and fundamentals.

There's no turning back now, athletes will now learn challenging new skills and implement previous skills in real world scenarios.

Time to get scary, here athletes take their training to the next level, taking on thrilling skills.

What are your limits? At this level, athletes are introduced to Freerunning, learning adrenaline pumping flips and completing daring challenges.

4worldlovers: This historic park, located in Los Angeles County where the Simi Hills meet the Santa Susana Mountains, is rich in natural, historical and cultural significance. Here in the western part of the Transverse Ranges, the land is dominated by high, narrow ridges and deep canyons covered with an abundant variety of plant life. The park offers panoramic views of the rugged natural landscape as a striking contrast to the developed communities nearby.

The best access to the park is from the 10200 block of Larwin Avenue. Take the 118 Freeway to the Topanga Canyon Boulevard exit. Proceed south on Topanga Boulevard approximately one mile. Turn right (west) on Devonshire, proceed half a mile, and turn left on Larwin Avenue which is the last street before Devonshire ends. The park entrance is on the right under the power lines. Parking is along the residential street.

At THE PARK, we are passionate about empowering all athletes to realize their potential by overcoming mental and physical challenges through the art of movement. We teach the sport of free-running, parkour, martial arts tricking and ninja warrior in a safe and fun environment.

The physical and mental lessons and skills that are taught and developed will often stick with these students for life.

Celebrate your birthday with a Parkour or Ninja Warrior Party! Come play in our new gym of padded goodness for two hours! Climb across the obstacle course like in Ninja Warrior or learn some new flips and tricks.

All of our classes run on an 8 week program. 6 weeks of different focuses week 7 is review week and week 8 is our assessment week. During week 8 students will be given the opportunity to move into the next level!

Do something different with your Spring or Summer. Come check out The Park Spring & Summer camps where athletes will learn how to run up walls, vault over obstacles, swing through the bars, and flip over friends. Daily activities to include a mix of parkour, trampoline skills, Ninja warrior inspired obstacles (warped wall, quintuple step), Ninja Zone, and tumbling skills.

Calling all Kids! Ditch your parents and come run, jump, and play on our bars, air track and obstacle courses. Practice your parkour, free running, and ninja warrior skills. Kids Night Out includes yummy pizza and supervision by our certified parkour coaches. There is no instruction offered during this open gym time, we reserve that for class time. All participants must have a waiver signed by parent or guardian.

Kids night out is the last Saturday of the month. Pizza only served on kids night out. We will still be holding open gym every Saturday night from 6:00-8:30pm

Drop the kids off at the park for some playing & training! Coaches will provide a fun & safe environment for the kids to make friends, train skills, or just have some fun! Coaches will run games, help kids use equipment properly, and make sure kids know certain techniques to keep themselves safe as they jump, climb, bounce, and tumble.
