I was lucky enough to have Dr. Eli Ahdoot recommended to me by my authorizing Doctor, to have my hip replacement. I hit the jackpot!! When I saw that Dr. Ahdoot did "minimally invasive" surgery, I felt I was in the right place. He is excellent at what he does and my experience was stellar! I was guided by his staff for all the preparations one has to do for major surgery and when the day arrived, I knew that I was in the best hands possible! He performed the surgery at Glendale Memorial Hospital, and it was a 10+ experience for me. Everyone who took care of me, was excellent at their task and it couldn't have gone better! I was home the very next day with a nurse and physical therapist following up with me at home. I was walking immediately and by following all the instructions from these wonderful caring people, and Dr. Ahdoot's incredible skill of replacing my hip joint, my incision was healed after two weeks and I was walking everywhere and allowed to drive!! It was totally amazing to me and truly miraculous! Thank you Dr. Eli Ahdoot and your great team, for giving me back my life to go hiking, dancing and prancing with no pain anymore!!

This review is for a Left total knee replacement. My mom is 3 months post-op and has never felt better. My mom was seeing Dr. Ahdoot for a few months before surgery was recommended, we did not want anything invasive as the first treatment option. This surgery is mostly performed as outpatient, but he was kind to offer an overnight hospital stay due to my mom's health. Thank goodness we did because the spinal & knee block did not wear off right away. Recovery is tough, so plan accordingly. However it was a lot smother than what we anticipated. Oh, and what scar? He did a phenomenal job with the incision. He called me right after surgery to ease my nerves about the procedure. He is kind, attentive, and so skilled. I would definitely recommend him for orthopedic surgery!
