Father and son team that is awesome number one. My Brother and I have been to several notable bike shops but this is a place you dream about finding. Actually I don't want to many people to know about this gem but I can't keep a secret. The service is outstanding they use professional tools extremely knowledgeable and customer friendly.

Three are great. They are very knowledgeable about things. I went down there to ask about putting the bike rack on my car. I'm as green as grass when it comes to this and the guy was so nice explained everything every little detail and what I needed to do. You showed me the bike adapter and the rack and let me see if I could work things. I had a pretty good understanding of things when I left and I really appreciate the help. They are very friendly and they want to help you.

What a great bike shop! Got a basic tuneup about a month ago and my bike is shifting smooth even after some hard fought dirt trails and heavy use around town. Brad is the best. He gave me tips on chain/gearing maintenance, remembered me and my bike after having stopped in a few times, and helped with packing & shipping too. Awesome place all around and I'll definitely return for service in the future.

Went here twice- first for new tires and a second time for some much-needed upgrades. Brad was super friendly, kind and knowledgeable; the service is excellent and prices extremely fair. I will be recommending this place to all of my friends. I've found a new go-to bike shop in LA!

Just bought a bike rack and extension from here. The staff here was extremely friendly. Brad was great helping me attach the rack to my car and then went through a demo on how to use it properly. Extremely knowledgeable as well so even though there are closer bike shops to where I live, I will definitely be coming back here again!

It stayed in excellent shape (until my sista put it on her bike rack and it fell off and got run over... still makes me sad...) But I got a new electric one and a friend put it together. It was riding strange. I took it to Metropolis and they took it apart ans put it back together again. Now it is awesome!!!!! Go!!! You will be so happy you did!!!

This is the place to go for beach cruisers and around town bikes! very female friendly environment (as opposed to most other shops) and knowledgeable staff. there is a reason why this place is consistently ranked as one of the best shops in the country!

Found this shop tucked away on Laurel Canyon Blvd. after trying at least 4 others in the area. I was extremely pleased at the competence, service, pricing and turnaround time. Primary bike: riding occasionally 2 years after 3 years of not much use. Needed a check-up; had been told the chain needed replacing. Chain was OK, did maintenance, explained everything. Detailed the bike and it looks like new! Back-up bike: with this success, I took my back-up bike in for the same treatment. Derailer, chain, tires, tubes - yes, way more expensive. To be fair, all this was deferred maintenance, probably for 8 years. Everything was needed. Also cleaned & detailed - even my back-up bike looks like new. And I feel confident in riding it, or loaning to a friend. The store has great-looking merchandise, nicely displayed. I find the poor reviews puzzling.
