We get our Spring Water from a family owned and operated spring in Baxter, CA., located at the 4,000 ft. level. The spring flows year round and is fed by the snow-melt of the Sierra Mountain Range.

The source of our water is safe and pristine and is protected both by the unique volcanic geology of Mount Baxter as well as by the state of the art quality processes, employed by the family owned company that operates the spring.

The 1000 acres of forest land at Baxter, on which the natural springs are located, are a zoned timberland preserve which restricts commercial development and preserves the natural ecology. No chemicals are used to treat the water, storage tanks, or any of the water system components. The entire system is designed to ensure that this pure spring water remains natural and unadulterated.

Our water is captured directly from the mountain spring at the base of Mount Baxter, without the use of a borehole (well) and is never exposed to any outside contaminants. It is pumped into stainless steel water tanks and transported to the bottling facility in Sacramento, CA.

Once it reaches the facility, it is pumped out of the tanks, through a Three Stage Filtering* process, removing any sediments, but leaving the naturally occurring and beneficial minerals in the water.

*Micron Filtration: Filters are made up of five 2-feet long filters in a single canister that are designed to filer out 99.9% of all bacteria.

*Ultraviolet Light: High intensity light that kills any bacteria that might be present on caps and bottles.

*Ozonation: This process acts as an antiseptic that kills any bacteria that might be present during the bottling process. This is required by all bottlers in the industry by the US Food and Drug Administration.

Once entering the enclosed cleaning and bottling system, the bottles, are washed in a self-sealed cleaning system and then rinsed with our spring water. The cleaning line and bottling line are in the same self-contained system, so the bottles are never exposed to any outside contaminants. br>

Water from the Baxter spring undergoes regular testing for quality assurance which is submitted to the California Department of Public Health’s Food and Drug Branch.

Finding natural, pure, hydrating water in LA is hard. I spent years buying plastic 1 gal. spring water jugs. Maybe hundreds. Then I was diagnosed with a health condition earlier this year and decided to upgrade one of life’s essential needs. Every cent has been worth every drop. I’m also a coffee lover l buy really nice beans often. Using LA tap is a waste of coffee, imho.

Ordering schedule was off for me at first, but a phone call to AW customer service fixed everything. The folks helping from ordering to delivery have been genuine and sweet.

It may not fit every budget and there are definitely cheaper delivery services, but i needed better water and AW delivered. I’ve worked low wage jobs in last year and still find its worth the quality.
