In serving the surrounding community, Bakersfield Swim Academy currently offers a large variety of aquatic services including: swim lessons for all ages (from 6 months to adult), summer rec swim team, beginning water polo, private birthday swim parties, and clinics with U.S. Olympic Medalists. We are also glad to offer individual triathlon training and our very own USA Swimming Club Team, Bakersfield Swim Club.

Membership at BSA is required for all students - you can sign your family up online before registering for a particular class or before paying for a single lesson. We desire all students to be serious about their committment to their lessons and our coaches put forth the same level of seriousness in excellence.

We take great care in placing each of our swimmers in the appropriate class levels. Knowing this allows for higher quality instruction from our teachers, a more productive learning environment for our students, and an overall better experience for everyone.

Private lessons provide a wonderful one on one experience to ensure your child gets the most out of their lessons. Children learn much faster through focused attention on exactly what they need.

Designed with your Toddler in mind! Short, frequent lessons to help them adapt to a teacher-student relationship, engage in the lesson content, and excell through their learned skills. Students are taught to comfortably float in the water and look for air in an emergency situation.

The best experience and advancement in skills are seen when your child is comfortable in their surroundings and with their instructor. A great place to gently encourage your little one to explore the water and bond with Mom or Dad.


This is an intensive program only available the week of Spring Break (April 3rd-April 7th 2023)

Lessons are 5 days a week, Monday-Friday with a max of 3 students per instructor. A great way to get lots of experience in a short amount of time!

Semi-Private lessons challenge your child to reach their potential and learn new skills while providing social interactions with other students.​

They will be linked up with a swimmer their same age and ability and swim either Mon/Wed/Fri or Tues/Thurs for 5 Weeks
