4worldlovers: Dr. Abu Taher, MD received a Bachelor’s Degree from Nizam College, India and his Medical Doctorate Degree from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. He went on to complete his internship from 1967 – 1968 at Gandhi Hospital in India and began his residency program at St. Nicholas Hospital in the UK before completing it at Raymond Blank Memorial Hospital for Children in Des Moines, Iowa.

Dr. Taher has extensive teaching experience. He worked as an Instructor in Hematology at the University of Wisconsin Medical School. He was part of the Teaching Staff and Attending Pediatrician at Des Moines General Hospital and Mercy Hospital Medical Center.
