If you are seeking to enroll into our program for ages 11-29 to receive our FREE supportive services and/or if you are just looking for Community Resources, no matter your age, than please take a couple of minutes to fill out this In-Take form. This information helps us to know how to best assist you in achieving your goals. Whether you are in crisis, senior citizen, disabled and/or you've been incarcerated, we are here to help.

We do NOT provide housing; however, we can provide current resources that may be applicable for you.

The mission of Beat the Streets, Inc. is to make sure at-risk low income youth and young adults, ages 11-29 in Antioch, CA

​and neighboring communities and counties have the resources they need to be successful in their Educational, Vocational and Life Skill and Diversion & Re-Entry goals, as well as, offer Community Resources for any age.

Provide educational support systems that enrich knowledgeable and productive young adults. They will develop a course of action for their futures through opportunities...

Provide vocational services aimed to provide assistance in areas such as employment referrals for unemployed and underemployed people within the community, mock interviews, resume assistance...

Life skill services are formulated to provide youth with a Life & Career binder to learn to become self-sufficient with the knowledge to make sound judgments and plans for future achievements by becoming organized and empowered with comprehensive guidance and support...

​My name is Yvette Williams. I am the Founder and Executive Director of Back on Track Community Services and Expungement Services. I have collaborated and volunteered both of my agency's services to Beat the Streets, Inc. since September of 2019. Beat the Streets is very instrumental within East County, especially with our At-risk young adult population. The staffing at BTS work effortlessly with housing, schooling, food and employment insecurities. Each young adult that signs up for services, receives special handling and wrap around services for their entire family, if needed.

During Fall 2019, Los Medanos College reached out to Beat the Streets with the goal of building a collaboration to assist current students in learning about the community resources and in much hope getting participants of the community to re-invest into continuing their education. LMC has taken the BTS participants in and aided them through the entire matriculation process from applying to the college to assisting students in purchasing books for courses. With the integral role of the Program Director, Maria Morales, and her passion for the participants, we get students who are willing and ready to put in the work to be successful. LMC and BTS will continue to build a strong relationship to support our young people throughout the community that will include smoother transitions and introductions and an MOU of sharing information about the young people’s progress as well as allowing each program to host workshops and information sessions in each other’s space. Together, both programs have goals to fulfill but more importantly, both programs have real passionate advocates who are assisting young people to become successful.

​This is a great non-profit that offers real skills for real people in the community. The people who volunteer and receive services from Beat the Streets are sincere and effective at giving people resources, skills and alternatives to creating a fulfilling life for themselves. I am proud and honored to be apart of Beat the Streets...
