In the Season of Lent, we make a journey with Jesus for forty days. It is a time of reflection, mediation and repentance. We acknowledge our sinful ways and ask for God’s forgiveness and love- knowing that come the end of this journey God blesses us with the greatest gift, His Son Jesus Christ.

We invite you to come with us on this Lenten journey. We offer a reflective evening Wednesday service at 7PM on Zoom until Holy Week. For Holy Week join us on Thursday and Friday at 7PM for the dramatic revelation of God’s sacrificial love for us. The story continues on Sunday mornings with our children meeting for Sunday school at 9:30AM followed by Worship at 10AM.

Come join us for our winter Sunday School semester. Sunday School is offered as part of our worship service with children joining in the Fellowship Hall for lessons and then returning to join Pastor for our Children’s Message. There are many surprises, including a new Sunday School mascot (who happens to be as mischievous as some of the Elves that mysteriously appear on Christmas shelves)! On the first and fourth Sundays, Children learn Bible songs and interact with our Praise Team in joyfully celebrating God’s love. St. John’s is a loving, inclusive environment for all children and we encourage all to come and join us to learn the depth of God’s love for all.
