Hook Line & Sinker opened in 1985 to provide live, fresh and frozen bait, terminal tackle, as well as a snack bar for the fishing community.


In 1989, we held the 1st Hook Line & Sinker Bass Tournament which enabled beginners, families & friends to participate in a family friendly event. The event has grown over the years and is held annually. It has grown from 11 boats to over 90.


In 2001 & 2003 Hook Line & Sinker hosted the (Bass Master Open) & many other main name tournaments over the years, some of which attracted up to 345 boats. In additions, we’ve supported the City of Oakley Kids Fishing Derby held at the Oakley/Antioch Pier for the past 14 years.

In 2001, Hook Line & Sinker moved from the Big Break Marina to 3100 Main St in Oakley CA, were we expanded our product line to include all types of fresh water & salt water fishing products, as well as marine supplies (which include; Minn Kota, Motorguide, Lowrance & Optronics just to name a few).
