The hype lies in the city’s walking trails alongside the Carquinez Strait. It’s an eight-mile stretch of water-surrounded land that connects Martinez and San Francisco Bay with Suisun Bay.

Visitors come here for the scenic views from the highest points in the park. You can see Mount Diablo and Diablo Valley, as well as the Sacramento River and East Bay Hills. There are five access points into and out of the park.
