First time fishing off the Antioch Oakley pier and stopped by this shop to pick up some bait. Deon was amazing! Coming from Arizona I don't have much experience fishing and he provided some great advice on rigging and what bait to use as well as where to fish from the pier. The hubby and I stopped by for the first time yesterday after needing bait after 7pm. Extremely professional, courteous, and customer service is top-notch. Bait prices are posted on a board and although all we needed was frozen anchovies I did scope out the prices for other bait. Prices are definitely cheaper as compared to other shops. I have bought grass shrimp, blood worms, pile worms, night crawlers, ghost shrimp, bull heads, and anchovies and the prices here are cheaper. Deon, the owner, definitely earned a new customer based on customer service alone, but the lower prices help make it that much sweeter. Thanks again! Will be back soon!
